Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026 · Version 2
This policy explains how Aviora (operated by The Visionary Platform Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on avioratravel.co.uk and the Aviora web app. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and — in the case of affiliate cookies — record that a booking came from us so we can be paid a commission. "Similar technologies" includes things like local storage and tracking pixels.
2. The cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site and web app to work: keeping you signed in (authentication), security, and remembering essential settings. These can't be switched off.
- Affiliate & attribution — set by our travel partners so a booking you make can be credited to Aviora. This is how we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Providers include Travelpayouts/Hotellook (hotels), Aviasales (flights), Viator and GetYourGuide (experiences). Some of these are set when you follow a booking link, on the partner's own domain. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
- Analytics — anonymised or aggregated measurement to understand how the site is used and improve it. These are only set with your consent where required.
3. In our mobile apps
Our mobile apps don't use browser cookies. Instead they use similar technologies — local storage, device identifiers and software development kit (SDK) identifiers from analytics or attribution providers — to keep you signed in, remember your settings, measure performance and attribute bookings. You can control these through your device's privacy settings (for example, limiting or resetting your advertising identifier, or adjusting app tracking permissions).
4. Managing cookies
Where required by law, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies before setting them (for example via a cookie banner). You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. Blocking affiliate cookies won't affect your booking, but may mean Aviora doesn't receive a commission.
To opt out of analytics/affiliate advertising cookies more broadly, you can use your browser's privacy controls or tools such as youronlinechoices.com.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties (our affiliate and analytics providers) under their own privacy and cookie policies. We don't control those cookies; please refer to each provider's policy for details.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. We'll revise the "last updated" date above.
